James Cathcart is a building contractor who began creating art from industrial metals in 2015. He started off with larger table pieces, and was commissioned to create specialty works for the steampunk-themed Rusty Owl Restaurant in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Recently, James has introduced smaller, decor pieces to his body of work. Industrial metal artwork has become his passion, second only to his devotion to his wife Deanna. James is blessed to have her unwavering support while moving tons of steel to trade shows and art displays across Canada.
